Parliamentary Procedure Class Online

PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE: 6 sessions online. This is an online, leadership program designed for officers and staff, particularly chairpersons, secretaries and treasurers, of organizations that use Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised. Learn how to properly and lawfully conduct and record business in formal meetings. Topics to include: fundamental principles, quorum, agenda, order of business, progress of main motions, precedence of motions, elections & voting, minutes; conventions and resolution writing. Limited enrollment; deadline for registration: July 7, 2010.

Instructor: Wm. Puette, Ph.D., Professional Registered Parliamentarian (NAP), Certified Parliamentarian (AIP).

For the first time, this course will be taught entirely online.
After enrollment, prior to the first class in July, students will be emailed instructions for logging on to this first UH West O'ahu/CLEAR online class.
Hardware Requirements: reliable, high-speed internet connection; and speaker & microphone or audio/mic headset.
Software Requirements: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7; or Mac OS X
Required Class Text: Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (10th ed.) or Robert's Rules In Brief.

   July 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28.
   Course Fee: $60.00
